New coins race every hour. The top three by volume split the purse.

A launchpad on Solana with a race on the hour. Creators fund the purse with a share of their coins’ fees; the market does the running.

Photo-finish photograph of one Photofin hour An illustration of one round. Left: five coins in racing silks leave the starting stalls; each launch sends a share of creator fees along a red line into the purse at the top right. The coins roll right; the further right, the more trading volume. At the green wire, the end of the hour, the three coins furthest right wear rosettes for first, second and third and are paid from the purse; fourth and fifth get no share. Step 1 of 4The entry

A creator launches a coin.

The creator starts the coin through Photofin and signs the launch with their own wallet. Every coin runs in its own racing silks, drawn from its name, so it is easy to pick out on the board.

Conditions

  • You sign every transaction yourself.
  • Photofin holds no private keys and no funds.

choose it like you mean it.

Step 2 of 4The purse

A share of its fees goes in the purse.

At launch, the creator chooses a share of the coin's creator fees and commits it to the purse: the prize pool of the hour. The purse is made only of these committed shares.

Conditions

  • The share is locked at launch.
  • It can't be raised or lowered afterwards.

nothing committed,
nothing to split.

Step 3 of 4The running

For one hour, volume decides.

Rounds run on a clock, one per hour. During the hour traders buy and sell, and coins are ranked by trading volume. The order keeps moving until the clock runs out.

Questions, answered

The racing editor replies: A Solana launchpad that runs a race every hour: launched coins compete on trading volume, and the top three split a purse made of the creator fees their launchers chose to share.

Sir, Who pays into the purse?

The racing editor replies: Only creators, through the share of creator fees they commit when they launch. The share is locked at launch.

Sir, How are coins ranked?

The racing editor replies: By trading volume within the hour. Each fee contribution is counted once, by its unique source signature.

Sir, When does a round end?

The racing editor replies: Every hour has a countdown. When it reaches zero (the wire), the order is final and the hour settles once.

Sir, How do I check a payout?

The racing editor replies: Every payout is recorded onchain and listed on Results with a link to a block explorer.

Sir, Does Photofin hold my funds or keys?

The racing editor replies: No. You launch and sign with your own wallet. The site holds no funds and no private keys.
